So l<strong>et&#8217;s prepare skis and boots<\/strong> and try to understand the <strong>best destinations<\/strong> to consider for our exciting summer skiing!<\/p>\n<h2 title=\"\">Do you want to ski during summer time? You can! Let&#8217;s discover where..<\/h2>\n<div class=\"typo-block\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/hello2.customcode.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/monte-cervino1-1.jpg\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first question to ask is <strong>where to ski in the summer<\/strong> and try to understand which are the most suitable slopes for our summer skiing ..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Italy there are <strong>four places<\/strong> to practice summer skiing: all have glaciers and are located at high altitudes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>&#8211; <strong>Passo dello Stelvio<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is one of the <strong>largest summer ski areas<\/strong> in Europe, located at 2,768 meters above sea level and has 20 km of slopes and 6 ski lifts. This destination is particularly suitable for those who are <strong>beginners<\/strong> and want <strong>to improve<\/strong> their technique thanks to the presence of many simple slopes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The start of the summer skiing in Italy coincides with the opening of the lifts at the Passo dello Stelvio, in occasion of the <strong>&#8220;White Feeling\u201d<\/strong>, an event taking place from the 2nd to 6th of June 2021: expert instructors will guide you on freeride routes in unspoiled nature.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><strong>&#8211; Passo del Tonale<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thanks to the Presena glacier, it is rather considered as <strong>spring skiing<\/strong>, generally it closes at the end of June. It has excellent slopes, you can practice <strong>slalom <\/strong>and <strong>giant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><strong>&#8211; Val Senales<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Along with the Giogo Alto glacier it is another location for summer skiing but with <strong>early closure<\/strong> during the hottest weeks of summer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/hello2.customcode.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/estate-cervinia-1.jpg\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<h4><strong>Summer skiing in Cervinia<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cervinia is <strong>very popular<\/strong> for summer skiing: it is the very only allowing you to ski on both the<strong> Italian and Swiss sides<\/strong> and a <strong>cross-border<\/strong> pass is used to go from one side to the other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Plateau Rosa <\/strong>is the skiable glacier with the <strong>highest altitude in Europe<\/strong>: the tracks are between 3,480 and 3,900 meters above sea level. The slopes extend for 26 km and are <strong>for beginners<\/strong> but also for <strong>more experienced skiers<\/strong>: the Italian side includes 5.5 km while the remaining 21 km belong to the Swiss side of the Zermatt ski area, the best way to reach the Swiss side is from the Italian one.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ski area also features a <strong>snow park<\/strong> and the <strong>Gravity park<\/strong> of Plateau Rosa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cervinia is the <strong>ideal destination<\/strong> for those who love summer skiing and want to <strong>enjoy relaxation<\/strong> and the countless activities that the mountains can offer in summer: <strong>walks<\/strong> among the <strong>flowery meadows<\/strong>, <strong>trekking<\/strong>, <strong>mountaineering<\/strong> but also <strong>horseback riding<\/strong> and <strong>mountain biking<\/strong>. For bike lovers there are <strong>downhill and cross<\/strong> <strong>country<\/strong> tracks. Those who decide to practice summer skiing have to follow some <strong>small precautions<\/strong> that will make the holiday absolutely perfect!<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>&#8211;<strong> High altitude setting<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To avoid altitude sickness it would be advisable to <strong>climb slowly<\/strong> to altitude and wait for the body to get used to it.
