Ch\u00e2tillon, easily reached in a short time, is home to some of the region&#8217;s most iconic historic residences.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Highlights not to be missed include Castello Gamba, home to the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the striking Castello di Ussel, perched on a rocky outcrop, and Castello Passerin d&#8217;Entr\u00e8ves, set within extensive parkland.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visit to the castles is also a good opportunity to explore the surrounding villages, stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant, or stroll through the historic centres.
