The Gran Sometta area is one of the key points of the Cervino Ski Paradise area, as it makes it easy to link Valtournenche and Cervinia, letting you explore even more pistes during the day.
Starting from Valtournenche, the route climbs towards Cime Bianche to reach the Cervinia side, crossing spectacular scenery with sweeping views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains. It’s a route much loved by those who want to explore the whole ski area rather than sticking to just one zone.
The link is especially suited to intermediate and advanced skiers, particularly on days with good visibility, when the views make the experience even more striking.
